ReSound Hearing Aids
The Danish hearing aid manufacturer, ReSound, was founded in the 1940s. ReSound’s mission is to help people rediscover hearing so they can live rich, active, and fulfilling lives. In the past few decades, ReSound has produced some hearing industry firsts: an open-standard digital chip, Wide Dynamic Range Compression (WDRC) sound processing, and Digital Feedback Suppression (DFS). ReSound was one of the first to introduce a smartphone compatible hearing aid.
LiNX2 – Made for iPhone
ReSound’s LiNX2 Made for iPhone hearing aids provides wearers with excellent sound quality, speech understanding, and spatial awareness. With wireless accessibility, the LiNX2 gives wearers a seamless listening experience.
LiNX2’s Surround Sound and Spatial Sense features help wearers locate sources of sound and provides wearers with a 360-degree spectrum of sound. For a clearer sound signal, LiNX2’s New Binaural Directionality II simulates a natural binaural listening experience. To address the difficulties of speech recognition, LiNX2 offers speech recognition features to help wearers discern speakers’ voices in many different noise environments.
With wireless connectivity to the iPhone, the LiNX2 enables wearers to stream phone conversations, FaceTime, music, and other media directly to their hearing aids. Additionally, LiNX2 offer an exciting GPS feature: wearer preferences are geo-tagged through the iPhone and will automatically adjust wearer preferences when they return to a saved location.
LiNX2’s Live Listen feature with the ReSound Smart App turns the iPhone microphone into an assistive listening device. When LiNX2 wearers require extra amplification in challenging noise environments, they simply place the iPhone near the sound source they wish to amplify and the iPhone streams the sounds directly to the LiNX2. For people who suffer from tinnitus, the LiNX2 includes a sound therapy feature with Nature Sounds to provide relief. LiNX2 hearing aids are coated in resilient nanotech material, designed to keep out moisture, dust, and other debris. With SureFit, LiNX2 is a customizable and ergonomic hearing aid, giving wearers maximum comfort.
The LiNX2 treats hearing loss in degrees from mild to profound, and it is available in a number of styles: invisible-in-canal, in-the-ear, receiver-in-canal, and behind-the-ear.
To address severe to profound degrees of hearing loss, ReSound offers the ENZO2. The ENZO2 is a super-power hearing aid, designed with advanced features to boost speech recognition and spatial awareness. ENZO2 offers enhanced features of New Binaural Directionality II, Spatial Sense, and Surround Sound. Other features include speech focus to help with speech recognition, comfort in noise, comfort in wind, and feedback cancellation.
ENZO2 is a wireless hearing aid that utilizes the ReSound Smart App to connect wearers to their smartphones. The Live Listen function utilizes the smartphone’s microphone to pick up and amplify sounds that are delivered directly to the ENZO2. This is especially helpful for people with higher degrees of hearing loss. Coated in resilient nanotech material, the ENZO2 is protected from moisture, dust, and other debris and is an excellent choice for active lifestyles.
ENZO2 is also compatible with ReSound’s Unite wireless accessories, which connects wearers to their home electronic systems. ENZO2 offers tinnitus therapy features as well. The ENZO2 is a behind-the-ear hearing aid, available in three power levels: Power, High Power, and Super Power, depending on the wearer’s needs.
